The importance of supporting local businesses is something that more and more people have come to recognize. If you are in the neighborhood of 105 S. Main St. Greenwood, Wisconsin, we welcome you to drop by and browse our bookstore. However, did you realize that shopping virtually local businesses is important, too?
This holiday season, here at ACM we hope that you will start your Amazon shopping using ACM’s Amazon Affiliate Link, or better yet, give our books away as Christmas presents! Browse our full catalog in this PDF.
ACM gets a small percentage of every sale of every product purchased on Amazon when you enter the Amazon website through our affiliate link. This can really add up for us! If you’re going to be purchasing on Amazon anyway, why not start with our link?
Some gift ideas:
One of my favorite books that we publish is a beautiful reprint of George MacDonald’s Lilith. We also have an edition of MacDonald’s Phantastes. This is a great choice for those C.S. Lewis fans out there. After all, it was MacDonald’s Phantastes that Lewis credited as ‘baptizing his imagination’ whilst still an atheist.
Speaking of a work of fiction that has had an enduring impact–our edition of John Bunyan’s The Pilgrim’s Progress includes classic illustrations and is one of our best selling books. (We offer this one in both hard and soft cover editions.)
For those interested in philosophy or Christian apologetics, we’ve got a handful of best sellers for you to consider:
Blaise Pascal’s Pensees
Got a friend who is passionate about the pro-life cause? How about ACM director, Anthony Horvath’s own Roots and Fruits
For a glimpse of the ‘other side’ take a look at one of our other best sellers, this work by two German scholars who advocated for euthanasia–a series of arguments that Hitler took to heart, and have new legs today: Allowing the Destruction of Life Unworthy of Life
For those that dig fiction books and human rights and dignity, try Shirley Tucker’s Diamonds in the Dust, which is set in South Africa and exposes the sex trafficking problem there and Jamie Greening’s, The Little Girl Waits, which exposes the sex trafficking problem right here in the good ol’ United States. (Putting these two books together, of course, we gather that it is a worldwide problem; these books are indeed available worldwide).
We have a great many other works you can see on our catalog.
Note, too, that we offer discounts on bulk purchases. Also, many of our books are available in Ebook editions for Amazon’s Kindle, the Nook, Kobo, etc. You can find these options readily through our full catalog link.
Finally, if you know someone who is interested in writing, the arts, or wishing to take their defense of the Christian faith to the next level, why not sponsor their enrollment in some of our online courses, or even perhaps one of our certificate programs?
Alright, folks, that’s it. Shop local…. shop virtually local… avoid the woo, shop ACM!
